My husband and I moved to Mesa last year when my husband got a job opportunity that he just couldn't pass up.
We want to start a family soon and are both very social, so schools and events are very important to us when choosing a place to live. We both love to play golf and try to go once a week or more. We are lucky to have found a place that has a beautiful golf course just minutes away from our home. Aside from golf, my husband likes to play other sports as well and we both enjoy watching sports. We are happy that there are a lot of different fun leagues that he can join and sports in the area that we can attend. I love to go to museums and was so pleased with the Mesa Natural History Museum.
The schools in the area seem great and we have heard a lot of excellent comments about the education facilities from some of our neighbors and our new friends that have children. There is so much to do and so much going on, that we are never at a loss for something to do when we have time off of work.
There is a great amphitheater that has quite an extensive list of events held on a regular basis. There are lots of shopping and dining options as well. There are great parks that I can go to when I feel like getting out and enjoying nature.
I look forward to one day pushing my son or daughter in a stroller through the beautiful parks and sending him or her to their first day of school at one of the many great schools to choose from in the area. Submitted to: Mesa AZ Homes
